Responsibilities
Perform protein conjugations, purification, and analytics; optimize protocols to meet project needs
Design, assess and troubleshoot purification and analytics protocols
Develop and optimize secondary purification protocols for leads and reagents
Deliver protein preparations and data analysis packages to project teams in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
B.S. with 4+ years of industry experience performing protein purifications and/or bioconjugations
Undergraduate/graduate education in the fields of Biology/Biochemistry/Biophysics
Solid understanding of the principles of protein purification and analysis
Experience with design, execution, and troubleshooting of purification and analytics processes, including monoclonal antibodies and other biologics
Proficiency with AKTA instrumentation for protein purification
Experience in characterization of protein preparations using SDS-PAGE, HPLC (SEC), endotoxin measurement
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to work closely with other group members within teams is essential
Preferred
Experience in protein bioconjugation and analytics (e.g. LC-MS)
