Responsibilities
Identify progressive/LGBTQ events in the area to increase visibility
Train and recruit volunteers
Collect stories and build relationships with the community
Mobilize Equality Florida's membership to attend field events
Participate in and manage field events with the Field Organizer
Assist in the approval/passage of pro-equality policies
Qualification
Required
Have event planning and organizing skills
Be organized and detail oriented
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Have a reliable smartphone and laptop for use
Have occasional weekend and weeknight availability
Be comfortable speaking to strangers and people with different world/political views
Be incredibly passionate about advancing LGBTQ+ rights and/or helping LGBTQ+ Floridians
