Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, customers, and members of the Design and Engineering team to identify user needs and product specifications

Understand the latest trends in technology and design to inform potential solutions

Recommend best product requirements based on UX understanding and research

Create design prototypes utilizing the Arena design library and high UI standards

Create new design components when needed and assist in the continued development of our design library

Participate in design discussions and collaborative sessions with the design team and product team members

Present design work to various teams and be able to identify and defend user needs and UX recommendations

Be an advocate for our users by carefully weighing user impact, business impact, and level of effort with your own recommendations

Communicate technical details in a simple, understandable manner

Help define the process and best practices for initial design and UX research

Required

Working toward a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

Portfolio or samples of strong UI/UX work demonstrating your understanding and use of user-centric design research

Experience designing with Sketch, Figma, or equivalent design tools

Impeccable attention to detail with 'pixel perfect' perfection

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong communication, negotiation, and influence skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, easily adapting to changing project requirements and schedules
