Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and secure new enterprise clients across ANZ, focusing on complex, high-value opportunities that align with Worldpay’s strategic growth objectives
Utilise consultative and solution-selling techniques to uncover client needs, shape demand, and deliver tailored payment solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and leveraging industry connections
Develop and execute strategies to penetrate priority verticals, mapping key players, decision-makers, and influencers to maximize market coverage and accelerate growth
Establish and nurture relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers within target organisations to influence buying decisions and shorten sales cycles
Represent Worldpay at key industry events and forums to extend brand visibility, strengthen partnerships, and enhance our web of influence across the enterprise ecosystem
Develop and deliver compelling proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations that articulate Worldpay’s value proposition and competitive advantage
Lead complex negotiations and structure deals that meet client expectations while aligning with Worldpay’s delivery capabilities and profitability goals
Partner with internal teams - including Solutions, product, operations, and marketing - to ensure seamless solution design, implementation, and client onboarding
Contribute to regional go-to-market strategies, account prioritization, and growth initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
Drive initiatives that enhance the client experience throughout the sales cycle, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships
Share market insights and best practices to refine sales processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen Worldpay’s competitive positioning
Drive new business development by selling innovative payment and/or SaaS solutions into large, complex enterprise organizations
Build and maintain a strong network of senior-level decision-makers and influencers
Proactively identify and engage prospective clients, leveraging a consultative approach to uncover business needs and deliver tailored solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to position FIS offerings strategically and win key accounts
Demonstrate deep product knowledge and industry expertise, including competitive landscape and market trends
Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations using FIS resources and tools
Negotiate, structure, and close high-value deals that align with client expectations and FIS capabilities
Contribute to the development of strategic sales plans and account growth strategies
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and performance objectives
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in enterprise business development and consultative selling
Experience in building strategic relationships with C-suite stakeholders
Ability to manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including identifying and qualifying opportunities
Strong skills in solution-selling techniques and understanding client needs
Experience in developing and executing strategies to penetrate priority verticals
Ability to represent the company at key industry events and forums
Strong proposal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions
Experience in leading complex negotiations and structuring deals
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution design and implementation
Experience in contributing to sales strategy and planning
Ability to drive customer experience optimization throughout the sales cycle
Willingness to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones
