Neuromuscular Neuropsychologist / Assistant Professor

The University of Utah is seeking a Neuromuscular Neuropsychologist to join their Pediatric Neurology Division. Responsibilities

Provide a full range of psychotherapeutic, diagnostic, and training activities
Provide high-level psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidenced-based treatment services, primarily for children with neuromuscular disorders or other pediatric neurological disorders
Participate in clinical research efforts in the neuropsychological testing for clinical trials and other research efforts
Participate in education activity, with opportunities in quality improvement, and advocacy

Qualification

Ph.D. in PsychologyAPA-accredited internshipResearch in neuromuscular disordersClinical trials experiencePsychotherapeutic skillsDiagnostic skillsTraining activitiesEducation activity participation

Required

Ph.D. from an APA accredited graduate program in Education Psychology/Counseling Psychology
Successful completion of an APA-approved doctoral internship in Counseling Psychology
Research experience in pediatric neuromuscular disorders, including publications
Prior experience in neuromuscular clinical trials
