Required

A graduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field

Preferred

A PhD in Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred, but substantial professional experience may be considered as a substitute
University-level teaching experience with strong teaching evaluations
Demonstrated skill in curriculum design, instructional innovation, and student engagement
Technical proficiency in areas such as: Programming (e.g., Python), Systems analysis and design, Database fundamentals and SQL, Web application development, Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, Business analytics and data visualization
Professional experience in information systems and strong industry or academic networks
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities
Someone who is committed to removing barriers for all individuals, including those traditionally encountered by individuals from underrepresented groups
A willingness to support student clubs, manage IT-related competitions, and promote departmental programs
Potential for future leadership contributions within the department or school
