Academic Neonatologist
The University of Utah Financial Services is seeking an Academic Neonatologist for its Division of Neonatology. The role involves providing clinical care for neonatology patients, engaging in academic work, and pursuing scholarly research while supervising fellows and residents.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical care for neonatology patients including shared night call and weekend responsibilities at each of its four Level III /IV Newborn Intensive Care Units
Engage in academic work including education, investigation, administration/service, and advocacy
Pursue scholarly research including individual or collaborative research, grant development, and written/oral presentations of research
Supervise and train neonatology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students during inpatient service and clinics
Participate in weekly Neonatal Grand Rounds didactic presentations
Engage in cross service teaching with other faculty, fellows, and multiple other levels of health care providers
Qualification
Required
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Excellent procedural and clinical skills
Required skills to conduct research/scholarly activities
Preferred
Skill and experience in point of care ultrasound
Skill and experience in simulation training and education
Skill and experience in telehealth
Skill and experience in clinical research
