Responsibilities

Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment to ensure accuracy and repeatability
Inspect and identify new equipment for calibration needs
Validate parameters that impact product quality
Maintain traceability of calibration records and sources to NIST standards
Utilize computer skills to operate within Windows-based systems and applications
Interpret technical documents such as blueprints, electronic schematic diagrams, and product manuals

Required

Proficiency in electrical/electronic measurement techniques
Understanding of electrical safety (120VAC / 220VAC 60Hz, and 400Hz 3-phase systems)
Familiarity with physical measurements (e.g., temperature, torque, force)
Knowledge of basic quality techniques
Electronic Technical/Vocational School certificates or associate degrees in electronic technology from an accredited institution
OR High School Diploma/GED with two years of documented experience operating and testing electronic test equipment
Assessment: Successfully complete a written assessment
Must be able to use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, generators, ratio meters, power supplies, electronic counters, automated test systems, standard resistors, capacitors, and inductors, angle position indicators, synchros, and rate table positioning systems
