Responsibilities
Product Release: Review and release products based on established QC metrics to ensure 100% compliance with customer specifications
Data Monitoring: Proactively monitor QC data trends to identify potential process drifts before they impact product quality
Quality Investigations: Lead investigations into product or process deviations; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Reporting & Analytics: Synthesize complex data sets into actionable quality reports, summarizing trends for leadership and stakeholders
Documentation & Training: Author, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide technical training to the operations team
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations and Engineering to streamline QC workflows and integrate new technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
2+ years of industrial experience in a Quality Control or laboratory operations environment
Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including PCR, NGS sequencing, spectroscopy (e.g., NanoDrop/Qubit), and fragment analysis (e.g., Fragment Analyzer/TapeStation)
Demonstrated ability to make high-stakes, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, high-throughput manufacturing setting
Preferred
Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or GMP standards
Experience working with automated liquid handling robotic systems and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
A proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical assays and process workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data for non-technical audiences
