Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Identifying potential sales opportunities and following up with leads
Utilizing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns
Collaborating with the sales team and Business Unit Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies, answering customer questions in a timely fashion and appropriately resolving/escalating customer issues
Actively participating in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company offerings and sales techniques
Creating and maintaining accurate and updated records of sales activities and customer interactions
Correctly quoting products and services to customers
Promptly entering orders in our system
Understanding and reviewing customer ordering and inventory levels, responding appropriately as needed
Actively contributing and executing ideas for process improvements and cost savings
Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee
Ability to support up to 20% travel
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field
Professional business presence
Proficient with computers and software, with particular expertise in MS Office suite; knowledge of both ERP systems and Excel required
Working knowledge of contract development and administration
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization
Ability to support up to 20% travel

Preferred

This is a feeder role for our Sales Engineer position so engineering degree is preferred
2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferable in a manufacturing environment
