Responsibilities
You will oversee all direct materials for our new business and customer service projects across the Americas
You will define the supply base for our projects in collaboration with Category Leads, Global Purchasing, local project teams, and Product Centers
Manage supplier engagement from initial quotes to final negotiations and contract execution
Apply standard terms and conditions and ensure compliance with supplier agreements
Draft, review, and negotiate work contracts and agreements
Rate suppliers post-project and conduct performance reviews and audits
Identifiy and deliver savings opportunities in third-party materials without compromising quality or timelines
Apply and optimize the SAP guided workflow for procurement requests
Qualification
Required
Commercial degree with good technical knowledge
2-3 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement, sourcing, supplier management and procurement processes within industrial automation, manufacturing or comparable industries
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing demands and situations
Good and proven knowledge of MS365 Office Suite, SAP R3 MM (Material Management) with focus on procurement transactions
Working experience in an international company with multiple sites
Work experience in project business comparable to intralogistics projects (size of projects; technology in HW, SW and automation)
