The Designer, Socks is responsible for working with the Senior Director of Product on the design, creation, and delivery of the line of designated brand-right products that support strategic initiatives specific to the Stance sock license. This position will use exceptional design skills, knowledge of the current market, and identifying trends to create innovative and commercially viable products from conception to production. This role will drive the design process, from concept to delivery. This person will design Casual Socks and Collaboration Socks. The Designer will be responsible for strategy based on consumer and channel insights to drive long-term customer value by delivering premium quality, on-brand / on-trend newness, in collaboration with Merchandising, Development, and Marketing

Required

Bachelor's degree in Fashion or related area

5-7 years of experience in circular knit designing Socks

Experience working with wholesale and direct channels

Strong graphic and print creation background

High creativity and artistic abilities, an eye for color, texture, and pattern with keen attention to detail and ability to visualize in three dimensions

Proficient computer skills to include Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Acrobat

Able to hit key calendar milestones

Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication

Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow up

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team under critical time frames. Self-driven and experienced working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department

A proven track record in designing products with the consumer in mind to achieve revenue goals

Strategic thinker who can build strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams and vendors

Strong decision maker with proven track record of effective communication and presentation skills to gain credibility with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
