Responsibilities

Ability to quicky learn and understand specific information about the product line
Gain specific knowledge of all aspects of the customer’s business
Develop persuasive, well-organized, and informative proposals in response to customer requests
Work closely with the technical support team to resolve any issues that arise
New business development and market growth within assigned areas of responsibility
Develop and maintain an annual sales plan for assigned accounts
Weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting
Monthly sales forecasts and target account pipeline updates within the CRM system
Maintain diligence in keeping the CRM system up to date
Provide technical advice and support to clients, using specific products and market knowledge
Create and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools
Carry out specific related projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner
Must be a strategic thinker with ability to execute tactical goals
Be able to initiate and develop strong relationships with others
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
Able to travel with typical travel time averaging 1-2 weeks per month; primarily domestic U.S
Attend customer conferences, trade shows, and networking events as needed
Establish the overall marketing and sales activities implementation plan by considering market trends, customers, competitors, industry and applications

Required

Experienced in infiltrating large corporations to become a trusted partner
Experienced in technical sales
Highly organized and professional in communication skills
Ability to travel overnight up to 40%
Well-versed in the automotive industry
