SNI Financial is partnering with a rapidly expanding multi-brand restaurant and hospitality platform centralizing its accounting and finance operations in Austin. The Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting will oversee the transformation of the accounting organization, leading a team while ensuring best-in-class financial reporting across multiple brands and locations.

Responsibilities

Oversee core general ledger functions including AR, marketing, labor, fixed assets, leases, debt, and reconciliations

Manage the chart of accounts and ensure accurate financial recognition across multiple brands and locations

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; own the month-end close; and manage consolidated financial statements

Deliver variance analysis and financial insights to senior leadership

Partner closely with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning

Maintain accounting policies, monitor new accounting pronouncements, and ensure GAAP compliance

Serve as primary liaison with external auditors

Build and enhance internal controls to protect assets and support data integrity

Lead, mentor, and scale the accounting and reporting team

Drive process improvements and support future system consolidation initiatives

Required

8 plus years of progressive accounting experience

CPA required

Experience leading accounting teams

Strong technical accounting skills and deep understanding of U.S. GAAP

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving structure

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present clearly to non-finance leaders

ERP experience and advanced Excel capability

Preferred

public accounting background strongly preferred

exposure to building or restructuring accounting functions is a plus

Multi-location, multi-brand experience (restaurants, retail, hospitality, or similar) highly preferred
