Responsibilities

Diagnose malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, rectifiers, instrumentation, wiring, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
Bend conduit; install new wiring for sensors, valves, actuators, and other electrical devices used for machine and process control
Fix machine controls using a PLC, servo, stepper, and basic relay logic controls
Repair/replace damaged air, chemical, water and hydraulic pipes on machine and measures, cuts, threads and installs new pipe
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems, replace as needed
Aligns and adjust components on machines to improve or correct machine functionality and part quality
Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder to make or repair parts
Braise, weld, cut, solder and metalize as required to effect repairs
Test all repairs and installations for accurate functionality and proper performance
Record all work completed in the company asset tracking software, communicating issues, parts used and need to restock components to Maintenance Supervisor

Required

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
State approved journeyman certification in: Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Repairer, equivalent multi-skilled Mechanical/Electrical program or 7+ years of experience in related field
Repair and Maintenance of CNC Machining Equipment
Experience working with Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems
Must have basic digital literacy and proficient using computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Must be organized and able to work with little supervision
All other duties as assigned
Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
