Director of Sales - Southeast Region
MBC Companies is seeking a Regional Sales Director responsible for the growth of sales and profitability of company products. The role includes planning and implementing sales activities aligned with company goals, managing broker relationships, and delivering effective sales presentations.

Responsibilities
Achievement of Sales Goals and profitability objectives:
Sets sales targets in conjunction with company goals and objectives
Researches competitors and competing products and analyzes data to identify sales opportunities, by monitoring online sales activity, analyzes sales figures, develops strategies to meet and exceed sales and profitability goals and reports results to supervisor
Identifies current and future product needs for our valued customers
Maintains continuous communication with brokers and customers related to product promotion
Manages broker relationships in assigned territory
Sales demonstrations:
Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications
Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
Develops technical presentations for existing and potential customers
Collaborates with Bake Crafters employees:
Works collaboratively with team members to create innovative ideas to promote new and existing products
Works as a team player with all departments to ensure the highest levels of customer service are met and exceeded for all customers
Maintains continuous communication with brokers:
Plans and conducts broker training and development
Ensures brokers promote Bake Crafters products to meet and exceed current and future demand in the market
Works with brokers to get Bake Crafters products spec'd/approved on K-12/Commodity bids
Miscellaneous Tasks
Controls expenses, monitors and adheres to designated sales budget
Plans, organizes, and coordinates food shows and annual conferences, including dinners with brokers, clients, and other key stakeholders
Attends trade meetings and industry conventions, as needed
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Understanding of competitive pricing in particular markets
Collaborates with the Operations Manager in the bids process
Ensures proper and updated contracts are maintained for the sales region

Practices and promotes encouragement and respect by acknowledging and praising coworkers, vendors and brokers
Cultivates effective business relationships with executive leadership team and all team members

Qualification
Required
Must have Associate's Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
Must have sales and sales support experience
Must have proven track record in K-12 sales including bids, commodities, and nutritional standards
Must meet efficiency standards in Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Office and other required technical skill areas
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Advanced presentation and public speaking skills
Technical and product knowledge capacity
Superb interpersonal and customer-focus skills
Excellent time management, and project management skills
Personal effectiveness and credibility
Trustworthy and ability to maintain confidential information
Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn other software
