Responsibilities

Manage dynamic case load of prelitigation cases, from intake though prelitigation settlement
Analyze case facts to assess liability, damages, and claim value
Draft detailed demand letters and review personnel files, pay records, and client documentation
Collaborate closely with Intake, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens teams
Strategize the strongest possible pre-litigation posture for each case
Negotiate settlements with employers and opposing counsel
Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and guidance
Ensure all case notes, evaluations, and negotiations are documented clearly and accurately

Required

1-10 years of experience, in employment law (pre-litigation, intake, demand, or negotiation experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of California and employment laws (wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment)
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
Excellent negotiation, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
