New GradLa Sierra University is seeking a Biology Student Laboratory Teaching Assistant (TA2) for the Winter 2026 quarter. The TA2 will assist the instructor and Laboratory Coordinator with laboratory class operations, provide instruction, and may assist with grading and clerical work related to the laboratory experience.

Responsibilities
Assist the instructor & Laboratory Coordinator with preparation, operation and take-down/clean-up of laboratory classes whether in-person or virtual
Provide instruction during the laboratory
Assist with grading of laboratory assignments/quizzes and other clerical work related to the laboratory class experience
Work a laboratory section for the full time the class lab runs, plus allow time for preparations, meetings with the instructor or Laboratory Coordinator, grading and other operational activities related to the running of the lab & lecture
Qualification
Required
Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Winter 2026 quarter
Must be able to start work immediately if hired
Must have taken BIOL112/L within last 4 years and passed with a grade of B or higher or been previous TA2 for this course in last 4 years
