Responsibilities

Perform detailed design and analysis of overhead and underground transmission line systems (69kV to 500kV), including structure loading, conductor selection, line routing, and foundation design

Apply industry standards such as NESC, ASCE, and utility-specific requirements to ensure compliance and quality

Support project delivery from concept through construction, including estimating, scheduling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Conduct design reviews and provide technical input to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with client expectations

Collaborate with project managers, junior engineers, and other technical specialists to deliver successful outcomes

Contribute to proposal development and client engagement efforts as needed

Participate in knowledge sharing and technical development initiatives across the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

8–12 years of experience in transmission line engineering, with a strong track record of technical delivery

Proficiency in transmission line design tools such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, SAG10, and LPILE

Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, and engineering consultants

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering
