Responsibilities

Creative & Content Leadership
Lead the evolution of Windstar’s in-house creative team into a best-in-class content-led team that delivers always-on storytelling and campaign support across marketing, sales, and product delivery
Establish a clear creative and editorial vision that translates the rebrand into daily content, defining what Windstar stands for and how we show up across channels
Translate brand priorities into actionable, platform-specific content and distribution strategies that drive awareness, deepen engagement, and deliver measurable business outcomes across owned, earned, and emerging channels
Define and own Windstar’s ongoing content strategy, including editorial pillars, recurring series, seasonal narratives, and channel priorities aligned to business goals
Build and maintain an editorial roadmap and publishing cadence that supports the rebrand year-round (not only during campaigns)
Develop scalable content formats and series (“content IP”) that can be produced efficiently and recognized as Windstar signatures across channels
Own editorial governance and prioritization, balancing always-on roadmap vs. campaign and stakeholder needs with clear capacity allocation
Serve as the senior guardian of Windstar’s brand identity, ensuring all content and creative deliverables reflect luxury, distinctiveness, and the “180 degrees from ordinary” promise
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, templates, and toolkits to enable consistent, efficient content creation across global channels
Ensure editorial voice, visual identity, and storytelling remain cohesive across shoreside marketing and onboard experiences
Lead the development of compelling, visually striking content—from core storytelling assets to multi-format packages optimized for social, digital, print, and onboard use
Oversee concepting and production of video, photography, design, and written content—ensuring every core story is designed for repurposing (“core → cuts”) across channels
Drive personalization of content for key audiences: new-to-brand travelers, past guests, travel advisors, and employees
Partner with the Social Media team as a co-owner of the content engine: shared editorial calendar, joint planning, and aligned success metrics
Incorporate platform trends, community insights, and performance learnings into content strategy and creative development
Ensure content is channel-native and optimized for engagement, reach, and brand growth
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative and content team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence
Establish clear role expectations and performance goals aligned to always-on content outcomes
Support career development and elevate skills in content strategy, storytelling, and multi-channel creation
Work closely with Creative/Content Ops to manage workflows, resourcing, and timelines that support a reliable publishing cadence
Review content performance (in partnership with Social and Analytics) to identify winners, optimize formats, and refresh high-performing content
Build systematic processes for scaling content efficiently while maintaining brand standards
Oversee multiple creative and content initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities align to the editorial roadmap
Collaborate with external vendors and shipboard teams as needed to capture the Windstar experience in an authentic, guest-respectful way
Ensure onboard and shoreside content capture supports always-on storytelling needs and fuels future series
