Responsibilities
Inspecting, testing, and overseeing compliance in the field
Maintaining documentation of training and qualifications performed of contractors, subcontractors, third parties, Authority, and public agency employees
Ensuring contract compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and with Standards, Rules, Regulations and Policies
Performing field observations, and audits
Helping develop training curriculum, programs, testing and qualification guidelines
Qualification
Required
Degree in technical or safety-related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in railroad operations or maintenance supervision
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Railroad Employee with an FRA regulated agency
Knowledge of Federal Regulations Parts 200-299, CPUC Regulations, and CAL/OSHA regulations
Familiarity with implementing, directing, and monitoring safety programs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
