This role is essential in managing the dispossessory process from initial demand through judgment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with court requirements.

Responsibilities
Prepare and file dispossessory actions, including demand letters, complaints, affidavits, and supporting documents
Track deadlines and monitor the status of filings across multiple counties
Communicate with clients, courts, sheriffs, and opposing parties in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate service of process and maintain accurate documentation
Prepare case files for hearings, motions, and other proceedings
Draft consent agreements, dismissals, writs of possession, and other routine pleadings
Manage incoming client information, update case management systems, and ensure all documents are properly stored
Assist attorneys with discovery, research, and preparation of hearing packets as needed
Provide regular updates to clients on case progress
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and procedural requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of dispossessory/eviction procedures in Georgia (or willingness to learn quickly)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic court filing systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred
Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience preferred, ideally in landlord–tenant, real estate, civil litigation, or related areas
