Responsibilities
Contract Management Support: Assist in finalizing contractual details with the trading, contract writing, and legal teams. This includes contract review, drafting and archiving tasks
Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Interface with warehouses, logistics service providers, and internal teams to handle inquiries or issues related to the physical movement of cargo
Position Management Assistance: Help in managing both physical and financial positions related to trades. This may include market research and analysis
Documentation Support: Aid in the preparation, processing, distribution and archiving of required shipping documents
Trade Pricing and Hedging Support: Run reports to ensure trades are priced/hedged accurately, may include market research and analysis
Adhoc Departmental Support: Assist team members within the department on various adhoc tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent with excellent academic record
Strong analysis/writing/planning skills
Advanced proficiency with Excel & Word
Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and good time management / organizational skills
Ambitious and entrepreneurial, willing to learn
Strong interest in international commodity markets
