Responsibilities

Performing complex queries and data analysis, and producing reports to identify trends, for use in operational decision-making and future projections

Providing program and project management oversight to facilitate technical best practices and quality assurance of deliverables

Coordinating hardware, software, network, and telecommunications office-wide support

Developing, implementing, and maintaining data and application security measures

Serving as liaison with Countywide IT department and other County departments and projects, to resolve issues and keep Treasurer’s Office management apprised of enterprise-wide technology initiatives

Advising the Treasurer and senior management, and contributing to office-wide strategic planning regarding technology-related matters and infrastructure

Assisting in gathering requirements and testing procedural changes in the enterprise tax administration system

Managing relationships with vendors and other external entities, including the credit card processor and state organizations

Leading management planning and completion of the County’s PCI certification

Supporting the post-implementation customization by the vendor of a new version of the County’s tax administration system, including system and user security; and

Leading system upgrades and maintenance projects
