Flooring Project Manager

The Encompass Group is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Flooring Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial flooring installation projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of flooring projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows
Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and Construction management software to track progress and milestones
Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately interpret project requirements and scope
Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment using construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar platforms
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve any issues promptly
Oversee change orders, contract negotiations, and documentation to ensure clarity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Utilize construction site experience to anticipate potential challenges and implement proactive solutions for smooth project delivery

Required

Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within flooring or related construction fields
Strong proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, or similar platforms
Knowledge of project scheduling techniques including project management fundamentals and time management skills
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site safety standards
Ability to read contracts thoroughly and manage contractual obligations effectively
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid is highly desirable
