The intern will gain knowledge in various aspects of Environmental Health and Safety while assisting with risk assessments, safety management systems, and training initiatives.

Responsibilities
Work with site leadership to conduct chemical risk assessments of each substance present at the facility
Provide support within a safety management system to ensure the system is utilized to the full potential of the system
Develop energy control procedures to ensure Lock Out Tag Out is performed in compliance with Health and Safety procedures and regulations
Coordinate with site leadership to conduct job hazard analyses
Provide training and communication of Environmental Health and Safety topics and goals
Assist with developing audits, checklists, and questionnaires
Assist EHS manager with hygiene sampling
Track and communicate Environmental Health and Safety key performance indicators
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Currently enrolled in an Environmental Health and Safety bachelor's degree program
