New Grad, Entry LevelForsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company, is seeking a CAD/GIS Technician to support engineering projects. The role involves collaborating with engineers to create and evaluate engineering plan sets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with our engineers to design, draft, review, and evaluate engineering plan sets
Create Civil Engineering drawing using AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation
Prepare report figures for projects
Write related technical documents such as material list and cost estimates
Ensure all drawings are accurate and meet industry standard
Maintain a library of standard drawing templates
Qualification
Required
Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline
Professional certification such as ADDA and CADD
Experience in using AutoCAD (Preferable Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation software
Excellent verbal and written communication
Knowledge of Engineering practices and industry standards
Preferred
Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools preferred
