Responsibilities

Identifying patentable inventions
Securing high-quality, strategic patent assets
Providing expert technical and legal analysis
Handling patent challenges
Providing guidance in support of patent transactions and licensing matters
Assigning and managing work performed by outside law firms
Working with engineering and other business organizations to understand priorities and challenges
Providing cross-functional support for acquisitions, regulatory, IP licensing, enforcement, standards, and litigation activities

Required

5+ years of patent experience, such as drafting and prosecuting patent assets, developing patent strategies, conducting patent analyses
Experience working with software and AIML technologies
USPTO Registration
BS degree in computer science or related discipline

Preferred

Juris Doctor
Advanced degree in computer science or software engineering
Experience supporting standards, open source, transactions, regulatory, M&A, and litigation efforts
