Copywriter

TeamPeople is an organization dedicated to providing superior customer service, and they are seeking a conceptual writer to join their copy team. In this role, you will help shape and uphold the brand through messaging, tone, and voice across all communications.

Responsibilities

Create content: Develop new written materials and update existing content for a variety of channels and audiences
Collaborate effectively: Work closely with creative teams and business partners to understand and achieve communication goals
Champion our brand: Understand and apply brand, content, and style guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Contribute to big ideas: Participate actively in the conceptualization phase of larger projects. Must be able to present and communicate your ideas effectively
Manage your workload: Juggle multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
Provide expert guidance: Leverage your industry knowledge and experience to present and advise stakeholders, influence content direction, and ensure business objectives are met
Ensure compliance: Identify, assess, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in line with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Required

Must be currently local to San Antonio, TX. No relocation
A track record of successfully managing multiple projects with varying requirements and objectives
Advanced written communication skills, including expertise in advertising, business, and persuasive writing
Demonstrated ability to understand, apply, and guide others in using brand and style guidelines for written communications
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex information, tailor messaging to diverse audiences, and deliver engaging presentations both in-person and virtually
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
A minimum of 3 years of writing experience across social, print, digital and TV
Proven experience writing both long and short-form copy for various channels, including TV, social media, email, landing pages, and online ads
