2+ years expdesignworkstalent is seeking a Desktop Deployment Technician who will play a critical role in ensuring that the desktop and laptop environment is up-to-date, secure, and efficient. The technician will prepare, deploy, and provide technical support for desktops and laptops, ensuring integration with the overall network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Prepare and deploy desktops and laptops for end-users, including imaging, configuration, and testing
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components
Perform upgrades and patches to operating systems, applications, and hardware as required
Provide technical support to end-users on desktop-related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems
Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure that desktops and laptops are integrated into our overall network infrastructure
Document procedures and guidelines related to desktop deployment and support
Participate in special projects and initiatives related to desktop deployment and support as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience with desktop deployment, hardware and software configuration, installation, and testing
Strong technical knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware and software, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and anti-virus software
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools is a plus
Experience with Ivanti imaging platform is a plus
