They are seeking a Restructuring Senior Analyst to focus on stressed and distressed restructurings across various asset classes, collaborating with investment professionals to manage fixed-income portfolios and build restructuring capabilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with portfolio management, research, trading, and legal to help oversee stressed, distressed and restructuring situations to maximize outcomes

Execute in and out of court restructuring, liability management exercises, and workout situations

Represent our investors’ interests in creditor committees

Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, external legal counsel, and other market participants

Build out in-depth credit, financial scenario, recovery, and capital structure analyses

Assist credit research analyst team with stressed and distressed analysis

Communicate deal related commentary to the broader team, department, and other firmwide stakeholders

Identify new opportunistic credit and new money opportunities

Actively monitor positions and industry dynamics

Maintain and improve repeatable framework and processes around stressed and distressed investments

Required

6-9+ years of stressed/distressed and restructuring experience, preferably on the buy side

Prior experience should include executing restructurings transactions to maximize outcomes

High motivation to learn, grow, and develop as an investor in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Excellent quantitative, communication, and investment management skills

Demonstrated ability to organize and collaborate with multiple constituencies with divergent objectives

Outstanding project management skills

Ability to articulate investment objectives in a clear and concise manner with internal and external constituents

Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with a proficiency in scenario based financial modeling

BA/BS degree required

Preferred

MBA degree

CFA designation viewed positively
