Senior Accountant - Audio Network (New York)
MNRK Music Group is a global music company creating original, high-quality music for various media. The Senior Accountant will manage North American accounting functions, provide financial oversight, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while supporting the finance team and liaising with external partners.

Responsibilities
Manage and perform all North American accounting functions, including transactions posting, customer billing, A/R, A/P, GL postings, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
Reconciliation of balance sheet, P&L, and all intercompany recharges
Produce monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis, and provide commentaries
Oversee tax functions for the US and Canada, liaising with our external tax accountants and ensuring all necessary tax filings are completed in time
Production of year-end audit files for both US and Canada Companies and support the head office and parent company with the statutory audit
Ensure compliance and support the Group with federal, state, and local legal requirements; filing financial reports
Maintain internal control processes and ensure the system and processes are efficiently operating and utilised within the company
Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
Assist monthly account reviews for the US and Canada, to ensure management accounts and reporting supports the overall reporting vision
Support group HR team with monthly payroll processing when needed
Provide ad hoc operational support for the office and HR
Administration on supporting Group for submitting WHT claims on foreign sales
Liase closely with the Sales team, supporting customer onboarding
Be the main contact for local Sales team to address sales finance operational queries
Support the head office on FP&A tasks relating to budgeting and reporting
Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred
Experience using SAP Business One and Salesforce would be beneficial
CPA preferred but not essential
