Professional Research Assistant
The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Professional Research Assistant for the Brumbaugh lab in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology department. This role involves both research and administrative duties, including coordinating lab resources and conducting experiments related to early development and stem cell biology.

Responsibilities
Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines
Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols
Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines
Oversee ordering of research items
Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders
Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables
Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies
Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival
Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab
Qualification
Required
B.S., B.A., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field
A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, PowerPoint)
A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology
The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills
Preferred
Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology, and animal husbandry (mouse work) is preferred
