Responsibilities
Check in and check out commercial vehicles entering and exiting the facility:
Verify bills of lading, shipment details, trailer numbers, and appointments
Update trailer, dock, and yard activity using supply chain and yard management solutions software
Track trailer inventory and maintain accurate yard status
Answer phone, radio, and email communication related to transportation flow
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and clerical documentation
Assist with shipping and receiving paperwork and load status updates
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver's license if driving a company or client-owned vehicle
Minimum of five (5) of years of experience in security or yard management systems
Experience with Transportation Manager, Blue Yonder / TW Slot or any other appointment scheduling systems
Prior work as a gate clerk, yard coordinator, transportation clerk, dispatcher, or similar role
Ability to work both indoor and outdoor in a fast-paced logistics environment
Preferred
Prior civilian or military law enforcement experience
Warehouse shipping/receiving, or logistics support experience
