Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, cost/risk trades, and schedule evaluations with regard to engineering changes
Interface and assist program personnel & other organizations with configuration management related issues
Perform configuration audits to verify systems have met the requirements specified in their baseline documentation (Functional Configuration Audit), and verify that the related design documentation matches the Configuration Item (CI) as specified in the contract and confirm that the manufacturing processes will support production (Physical Configuration Audit)
Supplier Compliance to Configuration Management requirements
Compliance with ISO 9000 standards
Qualification
Required
Performs technical planning, cost/risk trades, and schedule evaluations with regard to engineering changes

Solid written and oral skills
Effective interpersonal communication
Experience working with US Government and/or Foreign Military Customer
Experience working with Suppliers
Familiar with engineering drawing practices and Statements-of-Work
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
