Responsibilities

Design and develop cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure
Conduct field surveys and assessments to determine the condition of existing cathodic protection systems
Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of cathodic protection systems

Qualification

Required

4-10 years of experience in cathodic protection design
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and CP design tools
Strong understanding of corrosion principles and protection methods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Corrosion Science, or a related field
Certification from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) as a Cathodic Protection Technician or Specialist
Experience with cathodic protection systems for natural gas utilities
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NACE, ASTM)
