Consulting Innovation Analyst

Responsibilities

Drive innovation and problem discovery within the Domain Cross-Functional Team (pod), leading the identification, documentation, and evaluation of business needs for new solutions, prototypes, and reference architectures
Translate business/IT needs and strategic goals, identified in partnership with Domain Architects and their stakeholders, into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, informed by in-depth data analysis
Facilitate the prioritization of work and tasks by providing data-driven insights on value, effort, and risk to leadership objectives
Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Domain Architects, UX Designers, Data & App Engineers to assess the feasibility and limitations of proposed solutions, ensuring technical choices align with the strategic vision and resulting prototypes and designs can be used as reference across key IT and business domains
Act as a bridge between business and technology, clearly communicating the business implications of technical decisions to stakeholders and ensuring alignment for key changes
Own the creation and maintenance of innovation documentation (including data analysis, functional and non-functional requirements, and prototype validation plans), serving as the central point of knowledge for the team
Ensure the successful design, construction, and implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet desired business outcomes
Contribute to the successful delivery and validation of working prototypes (POCs), ensuring they meet desired business/IT outcomes
Serve as an Enterprise Technology and Architecture subject matter expert for domain technology and processes, helping innovate and solution with cross functional team members
Responsible for communicating via multiple forms of media, including but not limited to: WebEx conference calls, in-person participation and via written documentation across audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within and outside the organization
Committed to documenting discovery artifacts in detail as well as any identified functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria as required to guide prototype (POC) delivery and support reference material for IT and business domain resources
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a team
Experience with change management policy and procedures
Experience working with diverse and complex projects
Demonstrated experience in establishing and strengthening relationships
Detail-oriented and analytical with organization skills
Meets or exceeds project deadlines
Ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing environment
Strong problem and issue resolution skills
Highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
Flexible and adaptable to meet changing priorities
Experience with business/functional requirement writing preferred

Required

Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of experience in specifically related responsibilities required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a team
