Responsibilities

Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of mentorship, clarity, and ownership
Architect and evolve the infrastructure, systems and codebase that powers Wolf’s live, episodic games
Define and implement best practices for web-based game architecture, build pipelines, and deployment standards
Drive the development of internal automation tools and systems that accelerate content creation and game delivery
Oversee hybrid cloud operations (Google Cloud + AWS), ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
Champion observability, automated testing, and CI/CD systems to support daily content delivery
Partner with AI and content systems teams to connect creative workflows with automation pipelines

Required

10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, ideally in games, creative technology, or live media
Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js
Strong background in cloud-native architecture (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, observability)
Proven experience building and maintaining scalable delivery or automation systems
Track record of leading small, high-impact teams through technical growth and change
Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and workflow automation
Deep respect for engineering craft — thoughtful design, testing discipline, and reliable systems
Strong communication and mentoring skills; you build trust and clarity across disciplines
