Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing & Origination: Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, GPs, LPs, and advisors to identify high-quality secondary opportunities, including LP stake sales, GP-led restructurings, and structured solutions
Investment Analysis: Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative assessments of GP managers, funds, portfolios, and underlying assets, including cash flow modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
Due Diligence: Lead transaction diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to assess commercial, legal, financial, and tax risks
Transaction Execution: Manage transaction timelines, negotiate terms, and prepare investment memoranda for internal investment committees
Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in private equity, including the secondary market, track pricing benchmarks, and provide insights to inform investment strategy
Portfolio Management: Support ongoing monitoring of acquired positions, including performance tracking, valuation updates, and exit planning
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or secondary advisory, with at least 2 years focused on secondary transactions
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and relevant analytical tools
Deep understanding of private equity fund structures, LP-led / GP-led processes, and LP portfolio dynamics
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
Commercial acumen and transaction judgment
Strategic thinking with attention to detail
Relationship-building and networking skills
Financial Modeling: Proficiency in financial modeling is essential for analyzing investment opportunities and managing portfolio companies
