Responsibilities
Build and maintain scalable web applications, data pipelines, and workflows using Postgres SQL and Azure Synapse
Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing UI and data workflows for reliability and performance
Analyze and resolve production issues across front end, back end, and data layers with root-cause analysis and permanent fixes
Design and maintain data control frameworks to ensure integrity, security, and compliance across Synapse and integrated applications
Collaborate with actuarial stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and task estimation
Apply CI/CD, unit testing, version control, and monitoring best practices
Use automation and scripting to improve deployment efficiency and system scalability
Support QA/UAT cycles, ensuring deliverables meet business and usability expectations
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for long-term knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Postgres database platforms
Expertise in SQL and Python, with a strong understanding of Azure App Service and web UI integration
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Preferred
Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Postgres SQL
Strong programming experience in Python, SQL, and PySpark
Hands-on experience with cloud data lakes and CI/CD pipelines (Git)
Familiarity with web UI services and Azure-based deployment environments
