Responsibilities

Serves as the Test Team Focal point in the execution of the AEDC ICBM CTF's function of test planning, evaluation, and analysis of the systems under test
Formulates, directs, interprets, and applies test planning and test philosophy and policy for the organization to ensure technical validity, efficiency, safety and credibility in test and evaluation of the ICBM system and subsystems
Serves as the AF CTF/Test Team focal point on technical aspects of program management processes for the organization, including those dealing with the Bid and Proposal Process, test planning, office instruction, technical support, and unit system and test safety activities
Provides input to the AEDC ICBM CTF Chief as to the performance of co-located engineering personnel assigned to support this effort

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required
Males must be registered for Selective Service
A professional engineering degree at the bachelor's level from an ABET accredited institution in engineering or a closely related field is required
Specialized experience: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 in the Federal Service
Knowledge of the DoD and USAF acquisition process is needed to conduct DT&E and to develop Test Team plans and processes reflective of current DoD and USAF DT&E objectives
Employee must maintain current certifications
This position may require drug testing and the candidate may be subject to passing a drug test upon selection
Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
All federal employees are required to have direct deposit
Designated special-sensitive, requires a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information
The employee must, within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually, thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications

Preferred

4 years leadership experience of a large technical team desired
7 years acquisition or test and evaluation experience designed
A Graduate degree in engineering desired
