NGP3 Digital Systems Staff Engineer – Digital Sustainment

Responsibilities

Development of a comprehensive digital strategy in line with the goals and requirements of the program including model-based sustainment and the utilization of a digital twin to predict system performance, logistic and maintenance needs
Work with our DoD and airframe customers to define requirements for sustainment including requirements for CBM+ and PHM and to develop and maintain model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models to support sustainment activities
In conjunction with our airframe partners, develop the definition of a digital twin and implement across the DEE to support sustainment activities
Spearhead the development of advanced predictive algorithms by leveraging data analytics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize engine health monitoring and performance forecasting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering position
Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship
Due to security requirements, this position must be able to work a full-time in the office schedule
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred

Active 'Advanced program' access
Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, coupled with the demonstrated ability to influence teams effectively
Experience utilizing digital tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Cameo
Experience developing and maintaining APIs
Experience with GE Aerospace Digital tools and processes
Experience working with DoD customer and processes
Collaborate with the systems, design, test and product support teams to ensure seamless integration into the model-based sustainment strategy
Stay at the forefront of digital engineering and data analytics advancements, driving continuous improvement of existing tools and processes to maximize effectiveness of the engine sustainment
Integrate lean/flight deck methodologies into the DEE framework, optimizing efficiency and resource utilization
