Responsibilities
Serve as the primary People & Culture contact for assigned branches or departments
Support employees through their full lifecycle—from onboarding and growth to exit
Provide direct assistance to employees on questions related to benefits, leave, pay, and policies
Help employees navigate workplace challenges with fairness, confidentiality, and empathy
Partner with leaders to identify and address engagement, retention, and culture opportunities
Help drive communication initiatives across branches
Advise leaders on employee relations and job changes
Partner with managers to address performance, behavior, and attendance matters in a fair, timely, and compliant way
Provide consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures
Coach managers on how to support employees through challenges, benefits conversations, and general people processes
Strengthen leadership capability and accountability through trust and guidance
Manage leave of absence cases (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation) in coordination with insurance and legal partners
Conduct and document workplace investigations and support resolution of employee concerns
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and internal policies
Support companywide people initiatives such as engagement surveys, recognition programs, performance reviews, and policy rollouts
Collaborate with the Talent & People team leadership to continuously improve processes and the employee experience
Assist in maintaining accurate employee records, documentation, and systems to ensure compliance and readiness for audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience as an HRBP in a large (700+ employees) Corporate HR/People function within a multi-site organization
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required and not negotiable
Strong understanding of employment law, benefits administration, and FMLA/ADA processes
Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and HR documentation practices
