Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary finance team to design, develop, analyze, and present detailed profit and loss analyses to the NYP Enterprise

Build and maintain revenue and cost models which support senior leadership decision-making on strategic, capital and service line investments

Serve as a liaison between Decision Support and local hospital operational and service line leadership to foster continuous improvement to costing and revenue methodologies

Ensure the best, most accurate and reliable information is reflected in the profit and loss reports

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Public Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of related experience

Strong data and analytical skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

Master's degree

Experience in cost accounting, managed care, or reimbursement methodologies

Proficient in Strata, EPIC, Lawson

Proven proficiency in cost accounting design/methodology and previous experience in healthcare preferred but not required

Knowledgeable in maintaining health care decision support systems or SQL databases
