The Sustainability/Environmental Compliance Intern will support the Corporate Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Team through data collection, analysis, and reporting, while assisting with various sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support Valvoline’s Corporate Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Team through data collection, analysis, and reporting
Analyze energy use, waste, emissions, and water data to identify opportunities for efficiency and reduction
Assist with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for products and packaging to improve environmental performance
Contribute to sustainability dashboards and performance reports used to track corporate progress
Support key projects in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and renewable energy initiatives
Help maintain compliance by updating environmental permits, response plans, reports, and audit documentation
Engage employees in sustainability campaigns and volunteer programs that promote Valvoline’s culture of environmental responsibility
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support ongoing sustainability and compliance initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Available to begin work immediately or within a short timeframe
Continued availability beyond the summer is required
Ability to work part-time during the academic year
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking
In your sophomore year or higher pursuing a degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, or Business
Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting
Proficiency with MS Office tools
Strong communication skills with the ability to develop training and communications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Outstanding individuals in other disciplines will be considered
