Temporary IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Gains in-depth knowledge of the Partnership systems and processes from user perspectives
Works with business users to solve application issues or provide training to users on a particular function
Confers with functional or technical experts to develop requirements or resolve issues
Analyzes business needs, processes, and requirements, and develops software requirement specifications
Collects business requirements and creates flow charts to illustrate the process flow
Under the direction of the Senior IT Business Analyst or Manager, works on complex business problems, analyzing and documenting current business processes and systems to determine process or system needs that will improve performance and/or increase efficiency
Assists in developing department business processes, procedures, and policies
Communicates system changes and processes to appropriate personnel, documenting any processes as necessary
Creates ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Troubleshoots and resolves issues or assigns issues to the appropriate internal expert
Follows up with external and internal business users on status of open issues
Answers general user questions, troubleshoots system bugs, and resolves system problems
Performs other tasks as assigned to ensure integrity of data and accurate reporting
Participates in special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Business AnalysisHealthcare experienceMicrosoft Office toolsAnalytical SkillsCommunicationDocumentation skills

Required

Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff
Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of Partnership systems, software, applications, processes, and managed care issues
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interpret and understand Technical Requirements
Excellent Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot And resolve systems problems

Preferred

two (2) years of Business Analysis experience
experience in healthcare
