Responsibilities

Maintain the site calibration master list; schedule internal and external calibrations; coordinate vendors and service reports
Perform or verify calibrations to approved standards, ensure traceability and proper labeling/status
Maintain calibration certificates, uncertainty data, and equipment files; investigate out-of-tolerance conditions and drive corrective actions
Administer the electronic QMS (users, workflows, quality records), and support updates and change control
Create, revise, and control SOPs/Work Instructions; help track and report QMS KPIs
Support deviations, nonconformances, complaints, change controls, and CAPAs through closure with effectiveness checks
Plan/perform internal audits (ISO/IEC 17025) and support external audits and supplier evaluations
Liaise with stakeholders to align on quality objectives and readiness
Maintain equipment in safe, compliant condition; escalate and report non-conformances promptly
Lead or support quality and process-improvement projects to reduce defects/redos and turnaround time

Required

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 practices for calibration/testing
Experience running or supporting a calibration program (scheduling, records, certificates, uncertainties, OOT investigations)
Proficiency with eQMS/QMS workflows (SOPs, audits, CAPA, change control, supplier/equipment programs)
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to interpret specs, tolerances, and uncertainty budgets
Effective communicator; collaborates well with lab, engineering, and operations teams; solid time-management
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Metrology/Science (or related)
3–5+ years in laboratory QA, calibration/metrology, or QMS roles

Preferred

Audit experience is an asset
Training in internal auditing and/or metrology (MSA/Gage R&R) is an asset
