Responsibilities

Assist in corrosion prevention activities such as cleaning, prepping, priming, coating, and sealing metal surfaces
Perform routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, tanks, and structural components for signs of rust, pitting, or other corrosion
Apply protective coatings, paints, sealants, and corrosion inhibitors as directed
Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, repairs, and material usage

Required

High School/Diploma GED is required
Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment
Working knowledge of safe work practices, including chemical handling and PPE use
Ability to read and follow written instructions, technical manuals, and safety guidelines
Basic computer literacy for data entry and recordkeeping
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position
