Responsibilities

Provide both remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems in healthcare facilities, including DHA/DoD facilities
Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize work orders; diagnose and resolve hardware and software system issues
Maintain ownership of work orders, escalating complex issues to team leadership when necessary
Implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment
Support Sales and Implementation teams as needed
Perform installations, in-servicing, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and sales support
Maintain accurate small parts inventory and follow inventory control procedures
Provide detailed documentation of field activities, expenses, and time distribution
Participate in ongoing training to advance product knowledge and technical skills
Understand and follow corporate policies, including customer complaint handling and Medical Device Reporting

Required

High School Diploma
3-5 years of combined Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications
Experience with 24x7 on-call support in a customer-facing/field service environment
Strong mechanical, computer, verbal, written, and time management skills
Proficiency with computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking
Valid driver's license that meets BD's auto safety standards
Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds

Preferred

Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or other technical field
Customer Support Certification
Experience working as a hospital pharmacy technician
Experience in a hospital Bio-Med environment
Prior military Bio-Med experience
Automated Teller Machine (ATM) service experience
