The Collier Companies is seeking a Director of Technology and Innovation to join their team. This role is responsible for leading the research, analysis, and recommendation of innovative technology solutions to enhance business operations and drive growth, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive research on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation
Conduct in-depth analysis to assess the performance and impact of current and potential technology solutions
Provide high-level, actionable recommendations based on analysis to improve business processes and technology adoption
Oversee the planning and execution of technology implementation projects, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver value
Foster a culture of innovation across the organization and support the development of new ideas
Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to ensure technology strategies align with business objectives
Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with new technologies
Prepare and present detailed reports and strategic recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders

Required

Experience with AI technology is a must
Exceptional ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights
Deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies, and their applications in business
Ability to identify and solve complex problems with innovative solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience in leading and managing technology projects from inception to completion
Strong ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello)

Preferred

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in technology analysis, IT support, or a related role, with a significant portion of that experience within the multi-family housing industry preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP)) are a plus
